Indiana Borough Police were called out for a domestic disturbance early Wednesday morning. Officers say they were sent to a home in the 600 block of Grant Street at 3:44 AM and while they were conducting interviews, 26-year-old Dezhane Amey became disorderly with officers. They determined that he was intoxicated and took him into custody. He was placed in Indiana County Jail on charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
A York man was arrested for public intoxication in the Downtown Indiana area on Wednesday. Indiana Borough police said 52-year-old Lyle Tryon was found by police after they were summoned to the 700 block of Philadelphia Street. He was found to be intoxicated to the point that he was a danger to himself and others. Tryon was sent to Indiana County Jail to sober up. A citation was filed with district judge Anthony Sottile’s office.
