Pinwheels were planted yesterday at the Indiana County Courthouse in honor of children and families that have been impacted by child abuse.
Ceremonies were held by the CARE Center of Indiana County on the courthouse lawn to plant the first part of the Pinwheel Garden of Hope. The pinwheel is the national symbol for the great childhoods that kids deserve. Local citizens, businesses, and organizations sponsor pinwheels at various donation amounts. The event also raises awareness on the prevention of child abuse.
