A Penn Township man remains held without bond as he faces assault charges.
Jake Stepansky is charged with aggravated assault following an incident earlier this month that he describes as a playful driveway wrestling match. The incident left Stepansk’s friend — Joseph Hixson — with serious injuries. The defendant’s attorney continues to request bail.
In court yesterday, the presiding judge ordered that Stepansky undergo an evaluation for drug and alcohol addiction and said they will consider the motion pending the results of that evaluation.
