The case against a man charged in a 19-year-old Derry Township homicide case continues.
The body of 22-year-old Samantha Lang was found inside her home in March of 2007. Investigators say that Charles Ream had stabbed Lang to death. Ream was charged in 2023 with criminal homicide and second-degree murder but his attorneys have been arguing that the charges came outside the statue of limitations.
A judge has now decided against the defense on that theory and the case will move forward.
