Corey Hessen, CEO of Homer City Redevelopment, will headline a major energy conference in Pittsburgh today.
Hessen is set to deliver the keynote address at the second annual PA Data Center and Energy Innovation Summit, hosted by the Pittsburgh Technology Council. His remarks will focus on the ongoing transformation of the former Homer City Generating Station, which is being redeveloped into what’s expected to become the largest natural gas-powered energy facility currently under construction in the United States.
When finished, the plant will use seven advanced natural gas turbines to help meet growing energy demand, including data centers and artificial intelligence.
The keynote begins at 10:45 this morning.
