Officials in Ligonier Township are launching a plan to turn the closed Ligonier Beach into a public park.
The area was permanently shut down in 2018 due to flooding. Now, local leaders are looking for a hand from the community to help get rid of trash in order to get started on redevelopment. A cleanup is planned for Saturday, April 11th.
