Sandra Lee (Edwards) Smith, 85 of Blacklick Township, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
She was born on April 4, 1940, in Indiana, PA to the late Clarence M. and Eva Grace (Lightcap) Edwards.
Sandra had worked for Giant Eagle in the meat cutting department for 15 years, beside working on their family farm with her husband “Bob” and raising their family.
Sandra was a member of the Hopewell Church in Black Lick where she had played the piano, organ and singing in the choir. She also enjoyed quilting, canning, and spending time in her garden.
Sandra will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a great – grandmother.
She is survived by her husband; Robert L. “Bob” Smith, her two daughters; Janet “Jan” and her husband “Timmy” Nutter of Stephen City, VA., Carol Ann and her husband Duane Rager of Strasburg, VA., her brother; Frederick Edwards of Marion City, four grandchildren; Ivy Gurley, Hilary Barbee, Crystal Sours, Robert “Bobby” Rager, great-grandchildren;, Landon Gurley, Olivia Shelly, Caston and Raeya Barbee, Cheyenne, Dakota, Shawnee, Riker, and Nova Lee; grand step son; TJ Nutter, and a step great-grand children; Namine, Goku and Aerith.
Sandra was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Edwards.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date for Sandra.
