A man is being indicted for allegedly carving his initials into monuments at Gettysburg National Military Park.
Officials say 36-year-old Lucas Reisinger carved his initials into the 44th New York Infantry Monument plaque and Colonel Patrick O’Rourke’s face on the 140th New York Infantry Monument back in September.
The National Park Service said Reisinger was arrested on two felony counts last week. He faces a maximum fine of 250-thousand-dollars and up to ten years in prison for each charge.
