The Penns Manor School Board will meet tonight and the ARIN IU budget will be discussed.
A motion is on the proposed agenda for tonight to approve the 2026-27 intermediate unit budget, which comes to $4,609,675. Penns Manor’s share of the budget would come to $23,044. That represents just a $30 increase from the previous year. The board will also consider authorizing the district to take part in a cooperative purchasing program with ARIN and two other intermediate units.
The board will also deal with some coaching positions tonight as they will look at approving advertising for the boys’ basketball Head Coaching position, the hiring of a new boys’ track and field coach and the resignation of Chad Barnhart as an assistant girls’ track and field coach.
The meeting will start at 7:00 tonight at the district board room.
