State police are looking into the financial activity of a parent-teacher organization and a school in Hempfield Township.
Trooper Steve Limani has confirmed accounts tied to the Fort Allen Elementary PTO are under review. A call from school officials is what prompted the investigation, according to Limani.
The PTO group is run by volunteers and is not directly connected to Hempfield Area School District.
