Two men are facing charges with police saying they broke into or tried to break into three Westmoreland County homes this past Friday.
Reports say they got into one home after breaking a window but fled when the homeowner returned after receiving a security alert. The men were scared off from a second home when the homeowner pulled into the driveway and — at the third home — the suspects found the home occupied after breaking in.
The suspects were located and arrested thanks in part due to a license plate reader.
