After the fire yesterday, Indiana County 911 reported two vehicle crashes.
Marion Center and Plumville fire departments, Citizen’s Ambulance and State Police from the Indiana Barracks were dispatched to Route 119 near Tanoma Road in Rayne Township for the accident at 1:12 PM. Marion Center fire officials said that injuries were reported in the crash. State police said that the crash was DUI-related and the driver was taken into custody. Troopers are expected to release more information on the accident soon.
The other accident was reported on Route 85 in Rayne Township. Plumville fire department, Citizen’s and State Police were sent to the crash site at 5:49 PM. Details on the crash have not been released.
The only other call reported was for traffic control on Route 422 west in Armstrong Township. Elderton firefighters were sent out at 4:19 PM.
