From the US National Weather Service
A few showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder are possible today with higher chances south of the Mason-Dixon. Most of us will stay dry most of the day.
Saturday: Severe storms are possible (Level 2 of 5) late Saturday afternoon and evening with a crossing cold front. Strong damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes will be possible as this system moves through the area. Keep an eye on the forecast, especially if you have outdoor plans tomorrow evening.
