A man charged with trying to break into a home in White Township last June is due in court today for a preliminary hearing today.
Police charged 25-year-old Spencer Hudson of Derry with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and aggravated assault for an incident in the 100 block of North Third Street in White Township. State troopers said the man was trying to enter a woman’s home, and he was detained by a friend of the victim. As troopers tried to take him into custody, he resisted arrest and troopers had to use a taser to subdue him.
