After these stubborn early morning clouds clear out, skies turn mostly sunny for the remainder of the day and very pleasant for late February.
Warmer temperatures to end the week, but winter’s not over yet! Our next light snow chance will be Saturday night into early Sunday. Another more potent system will then cross the region in the Monday/Tuesday timeframe, bringing another chance for snow or rain to the area.
The second graphic shows the probabilities of exceeding 1 inch of snowfall within a 24 hour period. There may be a brief period of freezing drizzle as well Sunday morning.
