INDIANA GIRLS BASKETBALL
The Indiana girls and Baldwin played in the WPIAL consolation round last night to determine 5A state tournament seeding, and Indiana came up just short.

DISTRICT 6 BASKETBALL
River Valley and Bishop Guilfoyle were tied at 11 after one quarter, but the Marauders’ team speed was too much for the Panthers through the rest of the game, as they led by six at the half and won the District 6 boys Triple-A semifinal, 60-43. Top seed BG will play number two Forest Hills for the Triple-A championship on Friday, while number four River Valley will visit number three Westmont Hilltop to determine their state tournament seed.
River Valley led 20-16 in the second quarter before BG closed the half with a 12-2 run
Jake Pynos led River Valley with 16 points and was the Panthers’ only player in double figures. BG’s Taurean Consiglio led all scorers with 21 points.
In the other semifinal, Forest Hills came from behind to beat Westmont Hilltop, 44-41.
