Indiana began it’s America 250 PA Celebration today with a kickoff event.
Many local leaders, elected officials, and community gathered at the Indiana Courthouse for the first in a series of events to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the nation. The event featured music from the Indiana Fife and Drum Corps, as well as snacks and light refreshments from local businesses. There was also plenty of America 250 PA merchandise to help people celebrate.
Indiana County Commissioner Bonnie Dunlap has been working closely with America 250 PA. She said that it meant a lot to see such a good turnout for what is just the beginning of a long celebration.
