An 18-year-old Brookville student faces felony charges after police say he choked a fellow student into unconsciousness in a high school wrestling room, according to Brookville Borough Police.
According to ExploreJefersonPa.Com, authorities allege the victim lost consciousness for up to 30 seconds and later reported blurred vision, dizziness and ringing in his ears.
The student is charged with aggravated assault, strangulation, simple assault and harassment in connection with the Feb. 12 incident at Brookville Area High School. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 25 before Gregory M. Bazylak.
