A man wanted in connection with theft totaling nearly 150-thousand dollars in merchandise from multiple Walmart locations has been arrested in Westmoreland County.
Investigators say that Detroit resident Andrew Reed tried to make a fraudulent purchase at the self checkout of a Westmoreland County Walmart this past Thursday and was denied. Still, he tried to leave the store with 21-hundred dollars worth of goods that were not paid for and he was stopped.
Reed has since been arraigned on charges including retail theft and theft by deception.
