IUP has announced that their interim dean for the Eberly College of Business was promoted to the position on a permanent basis.
Dr. Prashanth Bharadwaj will continue to serve as the interim dean until May 16th when he takes the position. He had two terms as interim dean, from January of 2022 to June of 2023, then starting in June of 2024. He has served the university in the Eberly College of Business for 30 years.
Dr. Laura Luetkehans said in a statement that he has been committed to student success throughout his career and has also been instrumental in expanding the college’s international partnerships and global outreach to create unique opportunities for international business study.
As interim dean, Dr. Bharadwaj worked collaboratively with faculty and staff to complete the Eberly College Strategic Plan, ensuring its alignment with university and presidential goals. He developed a comprehensive set of Eberly funding priorities, launched the reimagined WINGS mentoring program for Eberly College sophomores and juniors, and organized the annual mentoring bootcamp for students with leading New York City Eberly alumni.
