A great effort by Indiana came up short last night as they closed out their season with a 5-4 overtime loss to Blackhawk.
Indiana fell behind, 2-0 before Michael Dubetsky’s goal in the first period. It was 3-1 Blackhawk when Indiana’s Jackson Albert scored in the second, but Blackhawk scored again and made it 4-2 after two. Indiana’s Matthew Stone scored a power play goal in the third and followed it up with his second goal at even strength at 13:44 to tie the game. In the overtime, Blackhawk’s Grant Shoads scored at the 46-second mark to win it.
Indiana finishes the season with a 6-12 record, two of their losses in overtime.
