Leaders with Laurel Highlands Schools are looking into an emotional outburst from a woman who teaches at the district high school.
Superintendent Jesse Wallace has confirmed a video that has been circulating on social media shows the teacher rushing onto the court after a third-grade basketball tournament in Murrysville. In the video, the woman can be seen yelling at referees and kids from the opposing team. Wallace says the teacher’s son was playing in the tournament and she has admitted she may have allowed his emotions to take over her behavior.
The superintendent says he is still evaluating everything that happened and will determine whether disciplinary actions should be taken.
