Homer-Center School Board is once again putting the call out for someone to fill a vacancy on the board.
On the agenda for tonight’s meeting is the acceptance of the resignation of longtime board member Fred Hayes, who is moving out of the area and will no longer be able to serve on the board. As part of that motion, the board will turn to the community to ask for applicants to fill the vacancy. In January, the board appointed Tory Dellafiora to take the seat of Kelly Elliot. While Elliot was elected to the board, she was unable to accept the appointment.
Also on the agenda for tonight is the approval of the district’s calendar for 2026-27 and approving a revised calendar for this school year, and approving a quote for lawn treatment services.
The meeting will be held tonight at 7:30 at the school district’s board room.
