Today is Presidents Day, a federal holiday meant to commemorate and honor the birthday of President George Washington. The holiday does bring with it several closures.
Federal, state and county government offices are closed for today. This includes PennDOT Driver’s License Centers. PA Liquor Stores normally open on Mondays will be open today. Many banks are closed, but will still offer services on websites, apps and at ATM’s. There will be no regular mail delivery and post offices will be closed. UPS and FedEx will be open for pickups and deliveries today.
Many schools in Indiana County will hold in-service days today, with the exception of River Valley, which is closed for the holiday, and United, which is open for class today.
