The trial of two people charged in the killing of a Westmoreland County grandmother continues.
In December of 2023, 71-year-old Alice Robson was found shot to death inside a crawlspace underneath the porch of her St. Clair Township home. Robson’s daughter — Melissa Fox-Beacom — and Matthew Bates are facing charges including criminal homicide and murder.
The court yesterday heard testimony from Fox-Beacom’s ex-boyfriend who said the woman talked often about how much she hated her mother.
