One of the three people involved in an assault last December is due in court today for a preliminary hearing.
Indiana Borough Police charged 50-year-old Rebecca Lynn Dunmire with Simple Assault and Terroristic Threats in connection with an incident on December 28th at an apartment building in the 100 block of North 10th Street. She along with 51-year-old Albert Phillips, Jr. and 51-year-old Cynthia George reportedly assaulted a person in the home.
Preliminary hearings for Phillips and George are set for February 19th.
Also due for a preliminary hearing today is 64-year-old Debra Reed of Shelocta. She is charged with theft, forgery, theft by deception and receiving stolen property for an incident on August 1st of 2006.
A preliminary hearing will also be held today for Collin Daugherty, who was charged with loitering and prowling at night and evading arrest on foot for an incident on November 6th of 2025. He and William Zahorchak were seen going through backyards trying to break into parked cars. When police arrived, the two tried to flee but were eventually apprehended. Zahorchak was formally arraigned on January 27th and has a criminal call hearing scheduled on March 6th.
