SHAPIRO SIGNS BILL REQUIRING CURSIVE HANDWRITING TO BE TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS

Students in Western PA and across the commonwealth will be taught cursive handwriting in the classroom.

Governor Josh Shapiro signed a bill into law on Wednesday requiring that cursive be taught as part of the curriculum in public schools.  Regarding his singing of the bill, Shapiro said he was definitely rusty, but thinks his think his penmanship was okay.
