A Punxsutawney man is facing a new felony charge after authorities say he hid in a bathroom closet to avoid arrest on outstanding warrants.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found 38-year-old Michael Scott Knox concealed inside an upstairs closet while serving civil papers at a Highland Avenue residence on Jan. 28. Knox allegedly admitted he knew he was wanted and was taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
