The Penguins have waived minor league goaltender Filip Larsson for the purpose of terminating his contract. He has not played much this season, stuck behind Sergei Murashov and Joel Blomqvist at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Larsson is 3-2-1 with a 3.51 goals-against average and an .876 save percentage this season. Unless someone claims him by 2 PM, he will be an unrestricted free agent.
