A man is accused of terrorizing employees at a North Belle Vernon eye doctor’s office on Monday while naked and carrying two knives.
Fifty-four-year-old Darnell Howell Senior is facing a list of counts including aggravated assault and indecent exposure. Police were called Check Eye Group on Broad Avenue around 1 p.m. after Howell reportedly went into the office without any clothes on, knocking over display cases and stabbing a couch and the walls. Authorities say Howell appeared to be in a manic state and was sweating heavily.
Howell had been previously released on parole after a 2015 drug conviction.
