A Pennsylvania man is facing charges for allegedly stalking newly sworn-in New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill.
The U.S. Marshalls Service Philadelphia announced Wednesday that 72-year-old Stephen Cilurso left sexually explicit and derogatory messages for Sherill. It happened in October and November of 2025 while Sherrill was still a member of congress and on the campaign trail.
Cilurso apparently has a history of harassing public figures and was charged five years ago with harassing Pennsylvania Representative Madeleine Dean.
