The newly-branded Mountains Health is more than just a name change for the partnership between Indiana Regional Medical Center, Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, and Punxsutawney. IRMC President and CEO Steve Wolfe says it represents the independence of each hospital while “strengthening the bond of care that connects (them.”)
The name change from Pennsylvania Mountains Care Network was announced this week. Over the next year, Mountains Health says it will be working to “further the brand and evolve the critical role” each serves in their community while sharing resources, experiences, ideas and expertise.
The three longtime healthcare providers first formed their partnership in 2015. Together, they have more than 350 beds and 2,800 employees, and they serve more than 200,000 people in Indiana, Armstrong and Jefferson counties.
The release announcing Mountains Health includes a directory of the specialty services available at each facility.
