The White Township Supervisors offered an update to the 2026 Comprehensive Plan.
The plan is used by the township as a tool to guide development and growth. Township Manager Chris Anderson explained a few ways the plan is used.
He said that from the last plan in 2020 to this years plan, they’ve seen some projects completed, and some needing modification, which is addressed in the new plan. The township will be placing the document on their website, as well as sending it to some public entities and residents. A public hearing will then be held, and the supervisors will consider adoption.
In other business, supervisors approved a planning module for sewer expansion on a major subdivision located along Rustic Lodge Road. The plan was submitted under the name “Rustic Ridge Development”, which Anderson said would be discussed further at the upcoming meeting of the planning commission.
