A pickup truck slid off snow-covered Route 36 in Bell Township, Jefferson County, on Thursday morning and struck a tree, injuring three occupants, state police said.
The crash occurred around 8:39 a.m. when the driver lost control due to snowy road conditions. All three were taken to Punxsutawney Area Hospital with suspected minor injuries, and no serious injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
The driver was cited for a lane violation.
