Governor Josh Shapiro says Pennsylvania cities will be prepared in case of a large-scale ICE operation.
Shapiro said on Tuesday that the state has been planning for the possibility that one of its cities will be the next spot for ICE raids after Minneapolis. The governor said Pennsylvania will be prepared in the community and in the courtroom in case the federal government decides to send in what he called “unwanted personnel.”
Shapiro also called for ICE’s operation in Minnesota to end and for Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to be removed from office.
