A man waived his preliminary hearing earlier today for charges of child pornography possession.
21-year-old Jacob Buggy of Indiana is charged with child sexual abuse material possession and criminal use of a communication facility for the incident that goes back to October 21st of 2025.
On that day, officials say they were interviewing Buggy in connection with a stabbing incident, and asked for his consent to search his phone. He agreed, and it was then that police discovered what was identified as 273 child pornography videos, as well as 18 pictures.
A date for further trial has not been set.
