Sentencing is being ordered for a Butler man who — authorities say — tried to set fire to a state police vehicle.
According to reports, Shane Everetts tried to throw a match into the gas tanks of a patrol vehicle as it sat at a West Cunningham Street stop light back in September.
Everetts pleaded guilty to charges including recklessly endangering another person and was sentenced to 12 to 36 months in prison.
