A new baby boy and his mother are doing well after the woman gave birth along a Pittsburgh freeway over the weekend.
Crew members with the Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS were called to assist the mom who was forced to pull over on the Parkway North around 12:30 Sunday morning as she tried to get to the hospital.
The baby was born without additional complications and was breathing on his own. He and mom were then taken the rest of the way to the hospital by ambulance.
