A man is hospitalized following an explosion at an apartment property in Delmont yesterday.
Officials say the victim was airlifted to West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh after the blast was reported on Spring Lane shortly before 3:30 p.m. Delmont Fire Chief Don Cline says he believes the man may have been carrying a propane heater that he had been using inside out of the apartment when it exploded.
The chief says no one should be using propane heating equipment in their homes.
