A man who dragged a harp to the riverbank at Point State Park before jumping in the water on Wednesday is likely to face criminal charges.
Authorities now say the 30-thousand-dollar instrument was stolen from a home in Bethel Park. Bystanders called 911 after seeing the man strip off his clothes and dive into the freezing river. He was rescued by first responders and is expected to be ok.
Park rangers have said they are pursing receiving stolen property charges against the unnamed man while Bethel Park police are looking into the burglary there.
