State Representative Jim Struzzi is hosting the Policy Committee in Indiana County as they will soon discuss rural healthcare issues at a hearing to be held today.
Yesterday, he and members of the Policy Committee will have a whirlwind tour of several facilities in the county, including the new Kopchick Hall at IUP, the new behavioral health facility at IUP, the Homer City Redevelopment site and the new Welcome Center. Their two day trip to Indiana County will wrap up with a policy hearing this morning. The topic will be “Overcoming Challenges in Rural Healthcare” and Struzzi said that this will focus on several issues with local representatives.
The policy hearing will be held at 9:00 today at the Hilton Garden Inn.
