A Strongstown woman will serve probation for guilty pleas to charges of child endangerment.
Court documents show 27-year-old Paige Walker will serve three years of probation including six months of house arrest with electronic monitoring for each count of endangering the welfare of a child. The incidents go back to February of 2024 and took place in an apartment in Ernest. Other counts, including aggravated assault of someone under 18, harassment and simple assault were not prosecuted as part of the plea deal.
Also sentenced yesterday was 20-year-old Qiyam Muhammad for a charge of aggravated assault. Other counts of assault by a prisoner facility employee, harassment and disorderly conduct were not prosecuted for the case that went back to October of 2024. He was ordered to serve 16 months to three years in state prison, which will run consecutively with any other sentences he is facing.
