Sentencing hearings are set for today in Indiana County Court, including one for a woman who pleaded guilty to charges of child endangerment.
Court documents are scheduled for 27-year-old Paige Madison Sue Walker of Strongstown. She was facing charges related to incidents of child abuse between February 1st and 26th, 2024 at an apartment in Ernest Borough. Last November, she pleaded guilty to two counts of endangering the welfare of a child while other counts, including aggravated assault of someone under 18, harassment and simple assault were not prosecuted.
Also due for a sentencing hearing today is 20-year-old Qiyam Muhammad of Indiana, who pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated assault-fear of serious bodily injury while other counts of assault by a prisoner facility employee, harassment and disorderly conduct were not prosecuted. The charges go back to an incident on October 19th of 2024.
