The Indiana Area school board will hold committee work sessions tomorrow night. The Policy and Personnel Committee meets at 5:30 to discuss extracurricular activities; non-curriculum-related, non-school-sponsored, student-led groups; new state rules regarding attendance, weapons, law enforcement agencies and school security staffs, and a number of other issues. The Academic and Extracurricular Committee meets at 6:30 to hear an IUP data presentation, and to consider course updates and replacement in the math and history programs.
Marion Center’s board will hold a work session with a lot of personnel items on the agenda, including the re-hiring of Mike Pacconi as head baseball coach, with Gino Colella as his assistant coach. The board will also consider several district policies, including bullying and cyberbullying.
The ARIN Intermediate Unit board meets on Tuesday. River Valley’s school board holds a committee meeting on Wednesday. Homer-Center’s Buildings & Grounds Committee and full board will both meet on Thursday.
