A gay woman who formerly worked as a sales manager for the Pittsburgh Steelers is suing the team, claiming gender and sexual orientation discrimination.
Attorneys for Chelsea Zahn filed the litigation this week. In the suit, the lawyers argue Zahn’s co-workers created a hostile work environment based on her status as a homosexual woman and that team owner Art Rooney the Second refused to pay her over 50-thousand dollars in commissions she was owed.
TribLive reports Steelers spokesperson Burt Lauten sent them an email response yesterday, saying the team will not be commenting on the lawsuit.
