At their meeting Wednesday afternoon, the White Township Supervisors approved an agreement with Indiana Fire Association for 2026.
The contract is in the amount of $207,000, which township manager Chris Anderson said will be funded primarily through tax dollars.
Anderson said that IFA has done an outstanding job in the past, so the decision to approve the agreement was not a difficult one.
In other business, supervisors approved two stormwater management agreements, one with CDP Realty and another with Joseph D. Lubold, in connection with the Rustic Lodge property along Oakland Avenue.
They also received the Department of Conservation and Natural Resource’s review of the White Township Stewardship Plan as it pertains to White’s Woods. Anderson explained exactly what the plan entails.
Supervisors will take a look at DCNR’s review and report back at their next meeting on January 28th.
