Steelers wide receiver Adam Thielen is retiring from the NFL.
Thielen announced his decision on Wednesday on social media. The two-time Pro Bowler went undrafted in 2013 and played 13 seasons in the league, finishing with nearly 85-hundred receiving yards and 64 touchdowns. Thielen holds an NFL record for eight consecutive 100-yard receiving games.
On December 2, 2025, Thielen was claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played in five games and made 11 receptions for 117 yards.
The Minnesota native spent 11 of his 13 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and also spent time with the Carolina Panthers.
