A Punxsutawney man is jailed on multiple felony charges after authorities allege he physically and verbally abused a juvenile male over several years, including an incident in which the child was pulled down a flight of stairs and required medical treatment.

The suspect, Jonathan Wayne Lute, 42, faces aggravated assault and child endangerment charges and is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on $25,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled later this month.
