The plan for the 4,655 square-foot parcel on the former Rustic Lodge property did contain two changes from last week when it was presented to the commission. One change was to move the proposed dumpster site further away from Rustic Lodge Road. The other change, according to code enforcement officer Jonathan Major, concerns a canopy for the drive-through lanes.
Tyler Prime, an attorney representing Chick-Fil-A said that there are few more things to go through including bond approvals and development agreements, but this was the final approval. No word on a timeline for when the facility will open.
