Indiana Borough’s Public Works Department will begin collecting discarded Christmas trees on Monday. You are asked to remove all lights and ornaments and place them at the curb, where you place your trash. The collection is contingent upon weather conditions.
The trees will be taken to the county Solid Waste Authority recycling center along Route 119 in Homer City. You can take your tree there yourself if you prefer. Trees will be accepted through mid-February.
